mHUB Events & Partner Marketing Associate

The mHUB Events & Partner Marketing Associate works within the mHUB marketing department and reports to the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications. The role focuses on planning, executing, and promoting a wide range of events that elevate the mHUB brand and the project management and execution of partner marketing initiatives. With the goal of building customer pipelines and creating stickiness with partners, the Events & Partner Marketing Associate sits at a crossroads and works with many internal and external teams to orchestrate meaningful experiences and foster engagement across a variety of channels.

Overview of Responsibilities:

Event Strategy and Execution:

•    Project manage and execute brand events alongside Event Coordinator with oversight and support from the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications 
•    Manage event sponsors, including securing new sponsors, for events such as the mHUB HardTech Summit and Fourth Revolution Awards, Women in Manufacturing, and Industry Disruptors.
•    Lead communication with all event stakeholders from speakers and presenters to vendors and co-hosts.
•    Work with internal teams to drive registration and negotiate contracts with vendors and partners to optimize cost-effectiveness
•    Assist Event Coordinator in venue rentals, particularly by identifying large external events that can be hosted at mHUB 

Partner Marketing:

•    Act as main point of contact, internally and externally, for partner marketing initiatives, including co-marketing campaigns, content marketing, amplification, web presence, and event participation (as referenced above). 
•    Track and report on marketing results for each key partner.
•    Support Development team in identifying new sales opportunities with partners 

Communications:

•    Multi-channel ownership of event and partner related content from designated email campaigns, social graphics and promotion, web pages, press releases, video, and photography, collaborating with creative contractors, Digital Marketing Manager, and Senior Director of Marketing and Communications
•    Engage partners and internal teams in the amplification and promotion of mHUB events and content, building and sharing marketing toolkits and shareable assets
•    Monitor and analyze event and media campaign success using defined KPIs.

Qualifications:
•    2 - 4+ years of professional experience in events, experiential marketing, or related field, with at least 1+ year of project management and budget responsibility   
•    Experience managing B2B relationships and co-marketing campaigns 
•    Experience tracking marketing activity to pipeline outcomes, working closely with leadership and development teams 
•    Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to work with and maintain long-term relationships with peers, customers, prospects, and influencers
•    Experience generating content and working with marketing tools such as the HubSpot Marketing Suite for building and distributing email and social campaigns and the HubSpot CRM for tracking client engagement and communications. 
•    Creative eye and voice for developing engaging, high-performing, and visually appealing content following brand guidelines and in partnership with graphic design, video, and photography contractors. 
•    Self-starter with the ability to work equally effectively independently as with a team
•    Customer-oriented with a drive to deliver exception results
•    Ability to juggle multiple, demanding tasks with accuracy and passion
•    Positive and team-driven outlook, viewing challenges as opportunities with the ability to identify unique solutions
•    Experience working in high-growth, high intensity environments 
•    Familiarity with startups or manufacturing a plus
•    Bachelor’s degree required

Work Details, Salary and Duration 
•    This position is full-time and open for immediate hire 
•    This position will be onsite/in-person at mHUB’s facility in Chicago 
•    Salary range is $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience 
•    Competitive benefits package
