Chris Seper

Executive Vice President, Farm Journal

Chris Seper is an innovative, entrepreneurial executive who creates media that matters. He founded his own B2B digital media startup focus on healthcare, MedCity News, and has served on leadership teams at multibillion-dollar publicly traded companies as well as some of the top B2B media organizations in the country.

Currently, Chris is the executive vice president of brands at Farm Journal, the nation’s leading source of news, data, and information for the agricultural market. He oversees Farm Journal's audience center of excellence, which includes print, digital, and broadcast content; audience development; events; content studios; and digital product development.

He also serves on the board of directors at Breaking Media, which operates industry-leading B2B brands including MedCity News, Above the Law, and Breaking Defense. He supports the local news industry as a coach at Northwestern University’s Medill Local News Accelerator, and is passionate about supporting all forms of innovation, as well as contributing to the City of Chicago. He mentors startups at two of the city’s top business incubators, MATTER and mHUB, and teaches as an adjunct professor at Roosevelt University.
