Equity splits are one of the most critical and commonly mishandled decisions in startup formation. Most founders make costly mistakes when dividing ownership, but there's a proven method to ensure your split is perfectly fair and adaptable as your company evolves.
Join Mike Moyer, author of "The Slicing Pie Handbook" and "Will Work for Pie," for an seminar on using dynamic equity split formulas to create fair equity distributions among co-founders, partners, employees, and advisors. This session is particularly valuable for bootstrapped startups looking to compensate key contributors with equity rather than cash.
This workshop addresses common equity challenges that plague early-stage companies: What happens when a co-founder leaves? How do you fairly compensate advisors? What about employees who join at different stages? Mike's formula provides clear, mathematical answers to these complex questions.
Who Should Attend:
- Founders starting bootstrapped businesses with co-founders
- Entrepreneurs planning to bring on partners, employees, or advisors
- Startups considering equity-based compensation instead of cash payments
- Anyone who has made equity mistakes and needs to restructure fairly
- Business advisors and lawyers working with early-stage companies
Don't offer anyone equity without learning this formula first—the decisions you make today will impact your company for years to come.
