Distributing a product that doesn't meet safety standards could be the end of your business. Product certification is not just a regulatory requirement—it's a critical business risk management strategy that protects your company, your customers, and your market access. This essential workshop provides the foundational knowledge every hardware entrepreneur needs to navigate the complex world of product safety certification.
Led by Manas Mehandru, mHUB's Chief Operating Officer and former leader at UL (Underwriters Laboratories), this workshop combines regulatory expertise with practical business applications. Manas brings unique insights from both sides of the certification process—having worked within the certification industry and now supporting hardware startups through the commercialization process.
Who Should Attend:
- Hardware startup founders developing physical products
- Product managers responsible for regulatory compliance
- Engineers and designers working on consumer or industrial products
- Anyone involved in product development for regulated markets
- Entrepreneurs preparing for product launches and market entry
- Teams seeking to understand certification requirements and timelines
This workshop provides the knowledge and confidence needed to approach product certification strategically and successfully.
