Turning an idea into a successful product requires iteration, testing, and deep user understanding. This workshop provides an inside look at the prototyping journey using the CanChill product as a real-world case study.
Led by Bill Fienup, this session walks participants through the iterative process of product development—from early concepts to market testing and user profiling. Attendees will gain insight into how design decisions evolve, how feedback informs iteration, and how founders can manage uncertainty throughout the development lifecycle.
Drawing from extensive experience in both consumer products and medical devices, the workshop highlights practical lessons learned from real projects rather than theoretical frameworks. The session is designed to help founders and product leaders better understand what it takes to bring hardware products to market.
