Intellectual property is often one of a company’s most valuable assets—yet many founders and business leaders approach it reactively or overlook it entirely. An effective intellectual property strategy provides a clear plan for managing, protecting, and leveraging intangible assets to support long-term business goals.
This workshop introduces the fundamentals of intellectual property strategy and explains why being intentional and proactive about IP can make a meaningful difference for growing companies. Participants will explore how thoughtful IP planning supports innovation, reduces risk, and strengthens a company’s competitive position.
The session focuses on helping entrepreneurs understand how to be smart and strategic about intellectual property decisions, from early development through growth and commercialization. Designed to be practical and accessible, the workshop equips attendees with a clearer framework for thinking about IP as a business tool—not just a legal requirement.
