About the Instructor
Shannon McGhee serves as Vice President of Programs and Engagement at mHUB, where she oversees educational programming and community engagement for hardtech entrepreneurs. Her extensive experience in startup ecosystems and investor relations provides her with deep insights into what makes pitches successful and messaging effective.
Shannon's background includes working directly with hundreds of entrepreneurs at various stages of development, from early-stage concept validation through fundraising and scaling. This experience gives her unique perspective on common communication challenges that founders face and proven strategies for overcoming them.
Her approach to pitch development emphasizes clarity, authenticity, and strategic positioning, helping entrepreneurs communicate their value propositions in ways that resonate with investors while maintaining their authentic voice and vision. This annual parking-lot celebration brings together more than 1,000 innovators and tech enthusiasts for an afternoon of food, music, drinks, and family-friendly activities.
