Technician – Mechanical Assembly Internship
Location: In-Person at mHUB. West Loop, Chicago, IL | Compensation: Based on experience

haptic feedback displays. This role involves precision work with our unique actuation systems

Responsibilities
- Assemble and test mechanical and electrical components by hand and using hand tools and basic machinery with a high degree of precision
- Maintain attention to detail throughout each stage of the build process including quality
- control and functionality tests
- Ensure consistency and repeatability in production workflows
- Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines in a
- fast-paced environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or
- a related technical field
- Follow technical schematics and written instructions
- Manual dexterity, fine motor control, and skill working with small, delicate components
- Ability to read follow mechanical and electrical schematics and understanding of
- mechanical/electrical testing and diagnostics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
